I heard if you were to leave it in Chicago cold for a month the whole thing would just fall apart..Don`t ever visit here in the winter !!

Salt water is a preservative for saturated stringers...they freeze at a much lower temp also.

You guys laugh. I have actually been boating in saltwater all my life, and I know what I'm talking about. See? My inboards never see salt. My outboards only see salt. All of my boats are old, and still run, but they look old. But they run.
