Probably the best thing to do is search all the major classifieds. Here, powerboatlistings.com, boattrader.com, etc..power boat swap shop on Facebook can be handy also, a friend of mine bought a mid 90s 27 ft fountain with a 502 mpi for $23k which I thought was a good deal. I'm not sure what your experience level is with performance boats or how much time you have spent in or around them but Find a few that you might be interested in that are local to you and drive to see them. Every manufacturer built their boat for a slightly different purpose/ style. Here in the northeast there seems to be several checkmate, baja, fountain, formula, and a few Donzi. Find out which style you like most, that will help in that you won't end up buying a boat you won't be happy with.

Hey guys I am buying a boat before spring, I'm looking for a 25-30 Single deep v. I would like to find something with stock Mercury power, full hydraulic steering,
Trim tabs (not Bennett, Merc K Planes or equivalent) Would like to have a nice steel trailer. Would like to find something like a Sutphen, Pantera, Superboat,PowerPlay,Etc.
But will consider others. I have a max budget of $30,000 something on the east coast will be better. Shipping from out west will cut into my budget. Send me a P.M with what you have.
Thanks Kirk
