Thumbs up Another successful COPS run!

Jack (Cashbrain),
Thank you for organizing another fun event. The buffet was great. I didn't feel like getting back in the boat. I ate way too much. Hope you guys beat the rain home.

We ran from Diversey Harbor to Hammond Marina today. Our pack of offshore boats were treated to bass boat conditions. You could have barefoot water-skied out there today. Very unlike Lake Michigan! The helicopter didn't get any prop spinning shots like the last run. The photographer had the pictures from the first run there to take orders. There was a killer shot of a 10-Meter Fountain flying about two feet out of the water with the spray coming off the props. Zoominfun had a great air shot from the last run also. I spoke with the photographer about getting some shots to post. I hope we can work something out. I hope everyone beat the rain home.

Cigwille,
Glad you were able to ride with us. You need to keep that boat of yours. You look like a fish out of water riding on my Fountain!! Besides that; I WANT A RIDE!

Wes29,
It was nice to meet you and Cliff. I can't believe it, I was looking for you and you were already at Hammond. Your boat rocks! Tell Krista she missed a great time. I'd love to catch up with you guys on the big puddle again.

RUSS SR1,
It was nice to meet you if only for a minute. Sorry they missed taking pictures of you. We need to get that OSO photo party going with Wally hanging out of a helicopter taking pictures.
That would be worth the price of admission.

Payton,
It was nice to finally meet your wife on land. No yelling over are engines this time. If those crops aren't ready for harvest by next weekend I'm sure we can find something for you to do. Remember it's not over till its over.

Quiet Storm,
Nice seeing you guys again. I can't wait to see the pictures of your boat. I can't believe I didn't take one picture this weekend! I should have taken a picture of those 502's with the Whipple chargers. SWEET!!!

Zanie,
Glad you made the run. Sorry I didn't get time talk with you guys.

Zoomnfun,
It was nice to see your whole group. I never know which group of boats your going to bring with. You and your friends have enough great boats to have your own club. One of these runs I'm parking myself over by you guys. I always see you guys but never have any time to talk.

Fermin,
If you get a chance I'd love to see those pictures. My email is [email protected] . No adult content please!

Crazyhorse,
Sorry I didn't get to meet you. It was nice to meet Barb and your two KIDS. They seemed like they liked the boat ride. If I brought my cats they’d permanently attach themselves to my face.

MR. CIG,
As always its fun to run with you guys. Thanks for getting all the Hammond guys together. I got the pleasure of following FoxHunter through the tunnel. Tell Jimmy he needs mufflers. God I want his motors.

Life is Good,
Mike, I couldn't remember your board name. Glad to know another Hammond boat is on OSO. It was nice meeting you. The little guy in the back seat was so cute. We need to get him a powerboat hat. It almost looked like he was going sailing.

For those I missed it was great running with you. If you’re out here lurking you should join up. Don't worry it's not too addictive.

Who wants to make a lunch run to Michigan City next Saturday?

Dan

Zoomnfun, I see you've got your Avitar changed already. cool
Great choice on the restraunt.

Jack and Janine, I've got your camera. PM me where to send it to.

Linda took so many pictures the the batteries on my digital took a crap. I'll post some pics as soon as I get some.

I'm not going to run down the list of everyone I met. I know I'll forget someone. It was great to meet everyone/see you again.

Mark and Linda

PS Dan we left to boat in Portage, just in case you talk us into one more run.

Hey, we had a great time! And the kids (dogs) did fine. Mark and Patti, thanks so much for our first 38 Cigarette sea-trial. I know you said it's more fun in 2-4 footers but we had a wonderful ride. Let us know when the next get-together is and we'll be there.

If anyone was at the last run and didn't see the pictures email me. I have some of the proofs and can send them to you. The proofs are very small but would give you an idea of what the photographer has. [email protected] This is a larger sample of his work.

Wish I could have made it...you know.
I need to have the photographer print me a pic from the Waukegan run.
Its not on the digital proof sheet but from the film camera.

I hope Imco is going to take care of you. I think we have a few more good weeks left.

Kamma,
I am glad to see that your boat is completed. I hope the weather will be good to us next weekend. Maybe some of the other Michigan guys can make it down?

What a fantastic ride that was!

Thanks so much for the invite! I't was great meeting you. Krista wasn't kidding about you being addicted to those sweedish fish. I wish I could do that run next weekend with you guys, but I have to stand up in a wedding. Keep me posted on other runs you might be planning.

cashbrain
It was a pleasure meeting you! You have put together a great organization (C.O.P.S.). The run was a blast and we couldn't have asked for better water conditions. Keep me posted on the next gathering you have.

P.S. The buffet at the casino was an excellent choice.

payton
It was nice meeting you and your wife! Your Super Hawaii is a beautful boat!

To all the other drivers
It was a pleasure driving the run with you! I appologize, but I don't have a good memory on peoples names. So to the rest of you, it was a pleasure meeting you and I will see you all at the next meeting.

P.S. I can't wait to run some poker runs with all of you next year!
