hard to move away from an engine builder that not only has got him great results but you never see his boat broke or not running due to engine issues.
Brummett builds great engine we all know but to move to a builder when yours has done everything asked and more is something I am sure many would not do.

Here is a before pic. The line on the left is where the knife edge will be.

Then we used the machine to probe the rudder to find all its dimensions and create a model of it in solid works, then modified it to what we wanted it to look like after machining.

This is the surface finish it had, then I polished a spot to see how good it could look.

Nice job - How many hours for the machining/polishing?
