Not a fan of most older boats but 390 Stingers have always caught my eye. Great looking boats.

That cabin is so hideous, it's magnificent! Would have been the ultimate 'legs opener' in the 80's. Personally, I think these Chris Crafts have just as much appeal as the Scarab KV, just couldn't match the following Scarab built thanks to their racing and tv fame. I'd gladly swap my current boat for a good example of either.

Please keep us updated, would like to hear of this boat being saved from the chainsaw.

Step 1- purchase Stinger after satisfactory inspection by buyer.

Step 2- don hazmat suit.

Step 3- Apply Lysol to entire cabin being careful not to think about all the bodily fluids contained in the velour. Failure to follow step 3 in its entirety will result in contamination of the hazmat suit with wearer's vomit. (Seriously, don't ponder the probability that there's enough remnants of little swimmers to repopulate the Eastern seaboard.)

Step 4- Repair mechanicals and hull as required. Go boating. Repeat.

Did you notice how stained the carpeting is in the cabin????

He's looking to get back into boating and wants to spend around 15k...

Turns outs this 39 needs a lot of love.... So he will be passing...
