It was a good back and forth for the V-bottoms last year. That big OL going 154 on 1550s I thought was going to seal the deal...then the BT went 159....then ran their crazy pass ha ha. Its good to watch when there is a little trading back and forth. Even the slower classes are fun to watch if they are trading places.
I like watching Onken's boat too.....I like that its piston powered and the effort that they have put in to go fast like that. |
Wonder if the black Donzi will be back, that was a nasty wipeout, glad he wasn't hurt bad

as much as we all like speed its going to be what kills the sport/events. even shootouts they are having to make changes.

Fastest boat competitions are great......flat water, downwind, with the current etc throws up big numbers but honestly I would not have any interest past about 125 mph......OL has gotten some big numbers recently with big power, pleasure set up vees.
