I go to FL and see CCs, I go to Havasu and see deck boats with 1,000 hp. All over the damn place. Lol... Just different coasts but both have their guru nitch.
Todd at Statement is one cool dude that's all I know about CCs, oh and Ron buys them for the girls and photographers to ride on at Skaterfest!! Haha |

Well yes I can share. Lets put it this way. Nick is a great guy at statement. Hands down. Craig is a liar and snake. That being said Nick also can't say no to anything which in turn gets him into binds with projects and due dates. The punch list includes items that were changed from build process to lots of quality issues. The fiberglass had a few voids in the hull to the point I could stick the tip of my pinky finger in it. This is definitely not good. A handful of stress cracks in corners of compartments and doors.
The cuddy was not put together with the options and choices we agreed upon. Panels of interior of cuddy was fallen apart and down after my trip to key west in the first 10 hours. Compartments that opened did not fit well. Some rubbed and were bowed to were they didn't fit well. All the bilge pumps ran and burned up because all of the debris in the hull was never swept out which clogged the pumps up. Wow, this was fun to mess with all week long during key west trip. NOT. SeaDek sucks. IMO... The lines on mine didn't line up with compartments. But, it also stained up pretty bad after a few months. The material is soft and is easy to tear up. The areas exposed to sun faded pretty bad verses the areas that were NOT exposed. Stereo changes and brand was not installed per specs. Totally overlooked and already cut into the boat. Several other options not completed to contract. This pretty much sums it up. After several months of back and forth with an attorney things got resolved and the boat was sold to someone that was happy with it. Oh, I forgot my trip was delayed by a day because one of the Mercury Motors blew up. Mercury had a recall on like 14 motors and guess what 3 were on my boat painted to match. Nick scramble to get new ones from another sold boat they were not painted and swap them out. It was a true nightmare. I wanted to keep this from public forum. But, everything is settled finally. The boat sold and most of the quality issues were addressed before new buyer took it. |

I love my 38’ Statement and my experience in having them build this boat was great. I would have no hesitation at all to have them build me another one. My punch list after delivery was just 4 or 5 minor items that were quickly taken care of. At the end of the first year there was very little else that had gone wrong and they happily took care of those few items as well. I’ve owned several new boats over the years and am please with the glass work, gel, paint and finishes. The quality of the upholstery is top notch and love the cross stitching and materials they offered. Thank you Nick, Craig and all the good people at Statement.
This was my first boat with Sea Dek flooring and absolutely love it. Nice on the bare feet. I’ve since added it to my Renegade and Nor Tech as well. Like anything if you want to keep it nice, you just need to take care of it. Bob |
I love how ONE single individual in this entire thread was so quick to hate on Sea Dek, while everyone else with actual credibility who actually OWNS a boat with it have nothing but praise for the product.
There's one in every crowd............ |

I get that it is a personal preferance but let's not try and word it as fact or the masses |

I get that it is a personal preferance but let's not try and word it as fact or the masses I like the boat, I like the teak style flooring but that pacman block style pattern reminds me of a $200 skateboard I had in the 7th grade! |
