Just heard it on the way home RIP, I "think" they were my second concert I ever seen.

Excellent 2hr documentary on Eagles out there. Totally changed my perspective. Glenn was monster talent. RIP

Sucks people we watch growing up are going way to fast!!!

My first album was Eagles Greatest Hits, 1971-1975. I recall family trips out west in our Ford van listening to that on 8-track along with Fleetwood Mac, Abba, Neil Diamond. lol

The Eagles had that strong southwest feel for me. Perhaps that's how I relate them. Or maybe something to do with Winslow, AZ. :)

Just saying....Personally I loved the eagles and all their dynamics.

I said the same thing. But if you really think about it, I would call 3 of the 4 rock and roll legends. The forth (Weiland) I wouldn't call a "legend". Definitely left his mark, but I think the other 3 were well above him.

Lemmy only had one Grammy, Frey had a six pack, and Weiland and Bowie each had two. Those are peer-presented awards. I'm not an STP or VR fan boy, I'm just sayin'.

Jimmy Buffet has no awards and is light years ahead of Weiland
