blownhammer2000 01-27-2016 08:39 PM

Ahhhhh, you funny!!!! Yeah you got me, I'm over this snow already, you know I can't wait to start the year!!!

Donzi Dude 01-27-2016 08:39 PM

Good one
Yea I'm ready for summer

Speedracer29 01-27-2016 08:43 PM

Hey, those Capris were boat of the year back in the 80s.... Some of the high end manufacturers never received (bought) that award!

So the big question is..... What kind of oil are you gonna run in that Alpha and 3.0 Mercruiser?

Get that grab handle done yet???

speicher lane 01-27-2016 08:44 PM

it was a 50/50 split if someone was searching though ebay and found the magic combo to JB Weld together.... hell someone already dropped a 5.0L mustang engine ( that was hanging for 2 years from the tree in the front yard) into a capri to make it an honest 90+/- mph boat

I buy wd-40 by the gallon. If it can displace water, free rusty bolts, and shed mud from my fender you know it's good for a crank case. Add some slick-50 and you're set for at least 27 hours

Oh yeah, that's been done, got the port side to buff out yet, then that's finally done, I keep finding little things I want to do, it's great having the boat under my house but sucks too cause I'm always tinkering, which always costs more money, oh well, get it 100% now and enjoy it all summer

Nothing like having a BRAND NEW sled and only be able to admire it from the man cave. If you get bored you could always grind up some ice and throw it on the seat to feel like you just rode through some powder!

That's about the truth! Rode New York last Thursday/Friday, came home Saturday to big snow here but lost 18" of that Tuesday. What a ****ty winter! Hopefully we will be boating in March this year...

Nastybug 01-28-2016 07:34 PM

Ha Love posts like this when they pop up. I keep waiting to open one and find that someone is actually going to do it. Would be great.

I do have a buddy selling a Bayliner... If I can get CrownLPX to sponsor the project, I would gladly put it together! Not sure what to do with it after that other than post it in the "Craigslist Gold" thread! lol.

You laugh..go ahead...If I ever win the lottery, I will put a 1350 in a bayliner, well, just because...

I am pretty sure Mungle has some slightly used 1350+ engines sitting around, He would be the guy to do it. Is the Bayliner a full stringer boat?
