Default Any good leads for a surveyor in the MI area?

Boat is near grand Rapids (Holland actually).

Already winterized sadly so just a basic hull and general survey would be needed. Boat is nothing fancy, just a possible island hopper to pass time and still be on the water for the summer.

Aside from the transom.

Any other known faults on a Wellcraft Nova?

I owned a 26' Nova and loved it. Heavy, well built boat that feels bigger than it is. As long as all the standard stuff checks out, I think it would be a nice daily driver. Good luck.
