Best way to Show from Miami Beach
What's the best way to the show from Miami Beach? Thanks in advance.

Rob, they used to run shuttles but that is back in the old days where part of the show was at the convention center and the on-water part across the bridge. This year's show is different so I'm guessing you will have to Uber it or cab it from South Beach. Have fun it's a blast!!!

That water taxi spot at Purdy ramp on SoBe should be quite a clusterfock. The others should not be as bad.

Thanks for the input gents. Should a water taxi be considered or just Uber down?

Sounds like a good plan, thanks.

I'm flying out in the morning and staying on South Beach.
Is there a 'best' way to get to the show from there? It looks like the show opens at 10:00 AM so I was thinking about leaving earlier in the morning to get there. Maybe beat the traffic getting there? Our first trip to the boat show in Miami. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks |
There is no good way, that is the biggest problem with the new local.. 2-3hr water taxi lines, shuttle buses sitting in traffic. Parking lots were backed up from the show all the way back to 95 and the lots were a mile+ walk to the show with shuttle buses running sporadically. Lots of bugs to work out for next year. Show is great, get to and from is a nightmare. One road in, one out. That is the problem.

We had no problem at all getting there.
Uber from south beach to the arena area was $12.55, the line for the shuttle took maybe 10min if that. Leaving was kind of a pain cause we left at close with the masses but all in all it was not bad to me. |
