Miss GEICO Team ‘Hitting Reset Button’ On Engine Program
Miss GEICO regrouping and moving forward, http://speedonthewater.com/in-the-ne...engine-program

Sounds like a smart plan. I like the fact they are working on reliability instead of HP at this point. Not finishing is not an option.
|
Agreed that this sounds like a great plan and idea.
As a fan I rather see more than 2 boats cross the finish at the end. |
one bad year does not mean failure.
This is a top team . they experimented and in the end it wasn't for them. hence a change .good for them. When Edison was under pressure he said in essence "i found a thousand ways how NOT to make a lightbulb. Keep goin Scotty .Youre a long way up from that old dodge pullin the pantera.:D Thanx matt good story |
Good luck to the team. Will be watching with interest how the new mgrt engineering team and existing hull compares against the newer cms 3 hull, and their engineering resources from merc itself.
|
No wonder Geico insurance is so high if these guys were blowing through 1650s like they were cans of beer! You gotta think this engine is already pushing it's physically possible limits. Anyway, good luck to the Geico Racing Team in the upcoming season.
|
Great to hear! Geico is an awesome team and enjoy seeing them every year. I'm sure they will get everything straightened out, see you in AC.
|
Sounds like they should reset back to Merc 1650's
|
This team is an icon and needs to be a contender for every race. Hope they get things sorted.
