Question tech help needed - drive won't trim up when cruising

Anybody know why a Bravo 1 will not trim up while running say 50 mph? When the boat slows down to 15 mph or idling in neutral, the drive trims up ok. My tech hasn't looked at it yet - I just wanted to see if the board can help.

1-check trim oil if missing :
check hoses
trim cylinder hose ends
oil seperator below the upper unit

2-if you add trim oil be sure you add the right one

3-trim cylinders may be down

Do a search, there was a thread with this same problem. I do not remember what he found as cause.

If you have worked on the unit lately and had the hoses off, it is possible they are on backwards. i did the same thing when i re rigged and had your exact symptoms.

hoses are backwards the trim pump has 2500psi of lift and 500psi of drop. try switching the lines at th pump if they are backwards it will trim fine untill it gets on plane. good luck

Thumbs up yep

Hey guys the boat is a complete re-rig. We're checking the hoses tomorrow. That makes sense and I bet that's the problem. What would we do without OSO? Thanks to all.................BH
