Awesome service thru bblades. Brett is awesome! My last 28p Bravo lab job netted 4 mph GPS gain. Have also worked with Todd @ hydromotive with great results.

If you are running Bravo type props you will not find anyone better to work with. He will make your boat better and his service is the best.

Baja170 02-28-2016 07:36 AM

BBlades and HoleShotPropellers

VoodooRob 02-28-2016 10:20 AM

I've used Cutting edge, and Merc labbing. Had great experience with both.

kreed 02-29-2016 07:32 AM

Brett at Bblades has always had great service and a great product. You have to get past Brad to talk to Brett, that's the key. I will say that prop work has increased in price in the last 5 years...drastically!

Big Block 02-29-2016 08:45 AM

I have had a lot of luck with BBlades.

Baldie 03-01-2016 09:12 AM

Frank and Jimmies treated me great.

BBCLiberator 03-02-2016 11:11 AM

Bblades, has done two for me, impressed with the results on both. About 2mph each time.

^^^ can we just keep this between us please because I know those guys and they can do a good job for the average family boater. I would not recommend anything performance related. Again not a dog to them but performance really is not what they do at all.

I do use them for the stock family rec boat crowd that just cruises around the lake from time to time.

Again I am not dogging them in no means at all - just true performance is not what they specialize in.

Have a question.

Right now, my best prop by far (out of tons I've tried )has been labbed by who knows who. It works so good, I don't want to change a thing but I now need to go up in pitch due to other reasons. Can any of these companies copy this prop to a T ? If so, how do they ?

bajadad 03-03-2016 08:56 PM

Performance propeller in soddy daisy TN does an excellent job.

Regear?

endeavour32 03-03-2016 09:13 PM

What do you guys think about the benefits of sharpening the blades. A friend of mine said its good for 100 rpms. BBlades has a set of my props now, I may ask to have them sharpen the blades or at least get Brett's take on it.

That is an option...but, then have no back up. Our lake is all rocks - we are called the Granite State for a reason . We have a section officially called "The Graveyard" and another called "The Witches." Fact ! LOL.

Just really want to know if it can be duplicated if it's sent in. I do not know processes other than 'Labbers' keeping notes on the props they do. I'm not a blind faith person on things like expecting a first lab attempt working perfectly the 1st time. Again, I have this one prop that does all. Because of some boat mods, the boat gained a bunch of speed and rpm (700 over where it should be) and now faced with repropping or re-gearing.

SB 03-03-2016 09:26 PM

Scratch re-gearing. Just hit the calculator. If I drop to 1.36 from 1.47/1.5, then I'm still 300rpm over rev with same prop and slip and speed. The boat should go faster bringing rpm's back to peak hp, so if I increase speed, it will rev even higher. Back to duplicating a prop but in another pitch.
