MTI Unveils Pre-Production MTI-V 57 at Dubai Boat Show

Boat's like this CC though are not the same market as the guy looking for a 30'-33' with twins for fuel efficiency, more room, and good speed.
I would say a boat like is for someone who had a sleek cruiser (sundancer, superhawk, 40SS etc) that wanted room, some speed, and is prob the party of the raft up.

Really enjoy viewing this monster, a bow thruster is needed for docking chores, the anchor setup is perfect. When you got it, flaunt it. An ocean runner.

I'm not an expert, here's my thoughts..... when the powerboat is long (57'), docking space is marginal, other powerboats in the immediate area are plentful, a steady wind is blowing everyone about, leveraging a 57'er from the transom may welcome additional support of a bow thruster. Control increases confidence and overall satisfaction with the powerboat.

guys spending 1M+ for a glorified party boat
want to have the biggest one at the bar or raft off.
Would be much better boat with a pair of diesels and surface drives.
Still run the same 70mph as the quad outboards with half the fuel burn.
(think cruising range)

I disagree, although there is some of that of course.
Would you drop say, $2million on a piece of art that hangs in your study, or a $1 million dollar boat you can have fun on..keeping the other mill for gas, upkeep, storage, etc.
Seriously....as there are many people in this financial category.
We have to put things into perspective. And that's how I do it. LOL.

not at all what I meant but ok.
Just meant that the dick measuring thing in boating is not limited to the new and blinged out CC market.

I had a discussion about this earlier today. Practicality is out the window with this thing, that's a given.
More importantly where the hell do you dock it? Many hot spots have tight docking not to mention tons of boats around. It is after all a hot spot. That's kinda the beauty of the 30-40' CC's. Fit a lot of people and don't take much real estate. Plus you can be the center of attention and in the mix. Just my 0.02.
