Hey Checkmate,
I am going to gas up on saturday . Can you meet at the Blue Water gas dock in merrick ? I would like to leave by 8:30 am sunday morning .That way we can be in bayshore by 9:30 . If you dont know where that is pick a spot to meet at 8:30

I know where the Blue Water Gas Dock is. My only problem is that Grovers' doesn't open until 8:00. That means that by the time they finish their morning coffee, ( I wouldn't want them to be too sleepy when the fork lift my boat out of the racks) and get me into the water, it will probably be about 8:15 to 8:30. How about meeting at about 8:40 at the Meadowbrook Drawbridge on the Short Beach side?? From where we are both coming from, we have to pass that bridge whether we take the ocean or the state channel.

We can take the state chanel to the amity cut , and the 5 mph zone will give me a chance to finish mine .
