A few of the transmission housings. I will be able to take the upper back cover off the transmission while its in the boat. That gives me the ability to replace the clutch pack or put in a spacer to make it direct drive if we have a problem with the pump or valve body to just make it direct drive.

Clutch piston, piston retainers and springs. And the clutch hubs.

Input shaft for the transmission. I am making the transmission really overbuilt. I don't want to have anything that can break when I'm 1000 miles from shore.

Very impressive engineering & machine work.
Is this something you've designed yourself or are you manufacturing the parts you had someone else engineer to your specs & draw? As you know we have a very strong partnership w/ Gene Haas & Haas Automation. Just out of curiosity what equipment do you have in your shop? |

This is the best thread ever. Awesome job. I am also curious as to what kinds of machines and software you use to program them as this is what I do for a living also.
