One engine will have two batteries hooked to it and 1 GPS, and 1 vhf radio and that is it. The other engine will have two batteries and all the rest of the electrical components, bilge pumps, lights, air compressor, radio, blender, ect. You can get more volume by using the sides and bottom of the boat as fuel tank. It would be a very complicated aluminum tank to follow the sides, bottom and go over the stringers. The aluminum would add weight but not really any structural strength like the laminate does. Aluminum welds can crack, and the aluminum will corrode in the salt water environment.
