Lake Havasu Visit

I'm on my way to Scottsdale and going to end up visiting Lake Havasu next Friday . Is there any thing special going on I should look out for .
I have never been to Havasu so any suggestions would be appreciated .

sounds like a good time to me. I visited Havasu to buy my boat and its a cool lake.

If you're only there for the day, just go to the Turtle Bar at The Nautical. You'll see everything going on that's worth seeing. If you have a boat, or are with friends that have a boat, make a run up to Pirate Cove.
