Default Best LOTO Shootout Hotel/Resort with 50' slips???

Looking to bring the boat down to LOTO for the shootout and want to stay at a hotel/resort that I can also keep the boat. What are the most happening places?? Don't want to rent a condo or house.

Just checked, rooms are sold out. Just called Four Seasons, they can have rooms and can accommodate the boat. Any thoughts on that place?

I've heard good things about Four Seasons, but have never stayed there.

Tan Tara Resort, or contact Performance Boat Center/Redhead Yacht Club, They are currently adding numerous rentals to the property(s), and this may work well for you.

The other thing Four Seasons has is a travel lift so it is a one stop shop, they can provide rooms, a slip, and load/unload my boat without having to put my trailer in the water. Does anybody know if any of these other places have that capability??

LOTO is fresh water, and there is NUMEROUS marinas with great ramps including the State Park, so dunking (unloading and loading) the trailer is not an issue. BUT... If you want to lift in: Marine Max and Formula Boats of Missouri both have travel lifts.

Four Seasons is an older resort. I've stayed there in the past (probably last time around the early 2000's) and it was in need of a remodel but clean. I believe they lost a lot of their original docks in the snowstorm several years ago so most of their docks should be newer and nice. Sounds like they have everything you need. I would question them on getting your boat down to where they would cradle it off the trailer to stick in the water. Make sure they can accommodate the total length of your setup to position it to remove the boat from the trailer.

I'm not going to dunk the trailer, so a travel lift is a must. Just looking quick though it seems like a bunch of places have lifts so it shouldn't be an issue. Thanks for all the feedback, going to a place for the first time and not having any local knowledge is pretty daunting.

4 seasons is a dated hotel but will put you right in the middle of the action by land and water. I did hear they are starting a massive remodel but no clue how far along they are. Marine Max will also have a lift and motel rooms available for rent. I would post this on www.midwestboatparty.com and you will get tons of advice on where to go.
