Wait wait, you misunderstand... the boat spend its whole life on Lake Erie, where there are never any waves over 2 inches. Plus it was owned by a little old lady that gave rides to the kids from the local orphanages, but only on Sunday and never more than 25 mph.

Now the boat was just brought down to Fort Lauderdale (hence the palm trees) and was only in the water longe enough for the picture to be taken.

Geez, you guys are so suspicious... :)

Just looking, Ed, just looking. Actually I was thinking of something around 34-35', maybe a Cafe Racer. And then yesterday I got a call at work from a dealer at the boat show telling me that they'd like to see my boat because they were interested in taking it in trade for a Top Gun. I ask, "How did you get my number?" and they said "Your wife gave it to at the show on Sunday." We had looked at it on Saturday and she was back there working at the Power Squadron booth. I really need someone to say "Be reasonable, we don't need that boat.", but I don't think that's going to happen...

5 - 6 footers I had to plow throug this past Sunday
Problem is your going to slow, If you go fast enuff these just feel like the warning strips on the shoulders of the highway. Thats the advantage of the great lakes the 6 footers are only 20 feet apart and you can skim the tops of them. :D :D :D

Mr.Offshore, are you saying that you dont belive that there are sometimes 6 footers on the lake?

Someone post this guy a pic!

Mr. Offshore if your serious you are very WRONG!

The problem with Lake Erie or trying to compare it to the ocean is the frequency and direction of the waves they are much shorter apart and can sometimes seem like they are coming from different directions. The famous washing machine effect!
Just go to the NOAA sight and check out the offshore bouy stats between the Great Lakes and the ocean waters.

Thank You :D
I thought we were going to have to drag you down here and stick you in the middle of the Sandusky Bay channel with a northeaster blowing:eek:
I dock at CP marina so yes I get to hang out at all the boring locations:rolleyes:

THRILLSEEKER 09-25-2002 10:46 AM

Boring, WTF?:p

THRILLSEEKER 09-25-2002 11:18 AM

Mr. Offshore, that is on reason why I trailer my boat everywhere.
