Thanks for the info. Being a skeptic it is hard to believe that every other 400r cat to date as well as any other outboard cat none of them has every run it's best with Bravo one props.
What does the same boat run from them with 300xs's? I think I read somewhere around 100mph?
Hard to believe only 200hp more with more weight would equate to 25mph?
Guess I may have to buy some 400's if they deliver that kind of improvements.
Wonder why they did not show the pic from the VV7 as before? Anyway great run hats off to them.
I hope we see that boat at LOTO this year and lay one down. As an owner of boat company in this day I sure would for everyone to see!

AMEN. BROTHER! Too much hype and no real information.... weight, prop, slip... went from 11% to 8%... magic??? and with Bravo's....really.. who goes fast with Bravos? Tell the facts.. that all I want. Shueman, I asked on your thread, weight of your orange 28 with 300XS's and no reply?? Why?? I am not a hater, but us "Skater" guys tell it like it is. Can Eliminator do the same??

It was posted the boat weighed 4300lbs with the 400r's. My old 28 Skater was heavy with all the goodies etc and it weighed 4300 also. Rayzors 28 I think he said was around 4100 or so. He ran 120mph video documented so I would say his boat with 400r's would easily run 130mph.
4300lbs with those motors is pretty light. I have never seen a speedster in person so cannot comment on size versus Skater.
Keep in mind 32 DW down here went 123 or so.. Again weight on that boat was around 4300lbs also.
Maybe with some Whipple magic 130 is possible!
Again no haters. We are all just trying to size up the 400r as many are thinking about motor upgrades.

The boat was only photographed with the Bravos on them. No way that's what they ran for those numbers

.

Would be great to know what props were used on the Elim.

SweCat was testing their Xcat boat for this week's race on their new 400ROS power

What style props are these? But then again, these boats are not propped for all-out speed, but for quick acceleration out of the turns, and cornering, etc.

If someone is in Fujairah, perhaps they can report back or take a pic at what props are being in used in the race?
