waterfront bars and restaurants in fort lauderdale
My son and his wife are going down to Fort Lauderdale in late May, he was asking me if there were any good clubs to look over the offshore boats? He remembers how good years ago Shooters used to be. Thanks for any recommendations,Frank

There's a cool place right next to the bridge on the starboard side of the entrance into the bay across from where all the huge yachts dock. Can't remember the name. Good food, great scenery. Nothing like shooters but still cool.

Houstons in pompano is a nice spot, I've seen a few there on occasion.

Bahia Cobana has a good bar over looking Bahia Mar marina. Just across the intercoastal from 15th street.

Boatyard is a good spot. It is located near the 17th St causeway across the intercoastal from Pier 66.

It's been a couple years since I have been there but Nikki Marina in Hollywood was a great nightclub and hot spot. Like I said it's been nearly 3 years since I have been there so I can't say if its still a hot spot but it was great last time I was there. Whenever I have been there in the past there were always a few Go Fasts docked but mostly luxury yachts in the marina.
