whats best to get??
DVD or tape???


I have 2 dvd players at home

also 4 vcrs

what is best for taking over to a friends house to show off :)

I'm new to this DVD thing. I picked up a JVC and it skipped a lot. I returned it and bought the Sony Jeff recommends and no problems. I like the ability to randomly access any part of the disk.

Jeff started filming the races with a digital camera this year. He told me the camera was $35,000.00. Ouch!! I think DVD would be the best way to go. The older stuff is not going to matter as much quality wise since it was originally on tape. The new stuff will definitely benefit being on DVD. The first four club DVD's are exclusively CATS. The next DVD is supposed to be Factory race boats. I also purchased the video that Audio brought to D&B's last year. That DVD ROCKS! I'm happy with the price and quality.

I hope Jeff includes some older race footage in the club also. Maybe the Chicago race where most of the race boats missed the first turn and came through the backside of the spectator fleet. I thought Riveted was going to give us a little tap he was so close. :eek:

Hugh some guys are getting a lot cuz they are buying them. You do not choose the cd's that you get. Some of them are older from days past and some will be new ones. Some will be compilations of all kinds of different ones. One thing is for sure they all KICK ASS :D:D There are few things that are better for getting us norther guys (SHUT UP NORT!!!!!) through the winter :D:D

If you get 5 you pay for the extra's but I will say that if you buy enough you do get some good perks (not the pills either) but some good down home action.....and thats all I have to say about that, if you sign up now you will get good ACTION down the road some footage trailers may show up on OSO uncensored....hint, hint......Sean

What DVD players are working for you guys ????

Jeff called me yesterday, now that I was surprised with.
He asked if I wanted all hte dvds from the start of his club offering.
Basically he said I would start with the first month and get 4 dvds.

Now thats what I call a great phone call :)

Even though he explained to me that the reason he was not able to send them out until yesterday was due to him being in the Bahamas :(

I told him I understood. Even tho' Ireally wish I was in the Bahamas also :(

Cannot wait until they show up. I hope I do not have any trouble with them. I have 2 sony players. Everything electronic in my house is Sony. :)
Cell phone and Laptop is the only thing not Sony.

Cannot wait :) Might have to call in sick on Thursday just to watch them all :D

I have a sony and I have not had any trouble. These Video's Rock. I had a little get together and just loaded the five disk up and let it run in the back ground.
