I know it's not a performance hull, but we have a 204FX Angler CC that we've made into an all around boat. It has a 150 Verado on it and we plan on performing the Whipple upgrade also. This boat was owned by an 80 year old guy and used mainly for trolling, we plan on using it as a fishing/ family boat. I'm interested in seeing your results, as it will give me some assistance when we perform the upgrade too.

Best of luck!

You drive like a woman. I'm surprised you know what a rev limiter is. Top of your blinker fluid before you hit the water and you won't have debris issues.

You're correct, rev limiter was an accident I slipped and fell causing the sticks to go all the way forward. Bout gave me a heart attack. And my damn blinker has a leak, that's why I couldn't make the Thunder Run. Blick's going to test out the bigger props for me this weekend, wifey says I am staying home.

But on a side note I heard you ended the day in a hurry. About 5 mph coming in hot to the dock.

Just messing with ya, herd you had an issue of some kind. Hope nothing major and you are good for the 4th.

Update. My buddy has the boat out this weekend. Put Bravo 24s on it. He hit 68 at 6000 rpm. Said it hops up out of water immediately. Told him to lay into her see what she has. So the upgrade was worth at least 5 mph top end and acceleration is way better. Will let keep you all posted after more run time and after I talk with BBlades Monday.
