Default 500EFI/Bravo XZ..reliable?

I am wondering if anyone has experience with this combo?
It is in a 30' Daytona cat.
I understand the diff between the XR and XZ is the upper gears.
Also, this boat has IMCO boxes. Does anyone have experience with X dimension?
thanks for the replies.

The best setup going if you plan to leave it stock.

Add blowers and the drives need to go.
