There is NO place to park a truck near the Hyatt, but the main reason is they owed the charity a couple of thousand dollars last year and refused to pay them. I do not do business with people that cheat or lie.

Bill sr.

That's too bad, definitely a great central place, but I'm with you on those issues. Time to terrorize a new hotel.

They are certainly in for a "different" crowd than they are used too when we all get there. LOL :hitfan:

What a light weight. Too bad I did not find him and put his azz in the wheelbarrow and dump him in front of the Hyatt.

It's nice to see these not for profit runs gaining traction, I wish I could attend as this looks like a great event!

ctuck0659 05-10-2016 05:42 PM

The last post for this is almost a month old- is the event a definite go? I'm thinking of joining the Friday night party and Saturday Palatka run. Can someone provide details on how to reserve a slip for Friday night in Jax? Is the discount at the Lexington Hotel in place?
Thanks-

If you've never been to this one, you should.
Jacksonville is a very cool city, worth the trip just for that.
The run is a bonus. :cool-smiley-011:

Do you have the pic from about 2007 maybe? Had the same angle but the Black Sunsation was in foregound with the 51'OL and about a million more boats behind?

I think this is the one you are talking about, but as far as I know, there was no black Sunsation until 2014 or 15.

That's the one. That 43 Sunny tied to the OL is mostly black with some green. Hot foot is an understatement walking across.
