I think many of his companies and investments went upside down while he was locked up in Mexico. Iirc he was released recently (within the last year) but that whole second half payment was seized by Mexican government

He was released a year and a half ago. The Mexican govt auctioned off the boat while he was in prison and apparently it is still in Mexico. All of the yacht clubs he started were taken over by the bank but they are all doing quite well now.

Please don't tell me this guys still in prison in Mexico. Holy sh!t. I mean, I get bad on you for selling your boat to a drug dealer and taking cash out of the county but f*ck, 4 years on a Mexican jail?!?! Is this dude still in prison in Mexico? Maybe time to come home? Our govt doing anything to bring an American citizen incarcerated in a forein court home??? im guessing he learned his lesson no matter how shady he was (or wasn't....that's total conjecture). Anyone know the story?

Ben on Reds. It's an amazing boat. So well thought out and laid out. The time and thought put into that build really shows. And it runs like a raped ape! Surprised more haven't been built...except it's a HUGE undertaking for NT.

http://www.news-press.com/story/mone...ison/17380235/

Indicates he was freed (Oct 2014). Other article was March 2014 and said he was going to be freed in 15 days......(took 7 months instead).

Bottom of the article notes he did not get the cash or the plane back.........

Talk about a **** situation.

Get wrongly locked up, your cash seized, boat sold, and business closed cause you could not tend to them.
