Hey guys I ordered Blue Thunder from amazon.com last week and it came yesterday(23rd). I bought it for 60.00 plus 5.00 shipping. I don't understand why they are saying it is not available. Try amazon.com and good luck. So far great book. I want to get searace next. Is it hard to get? Will it just confuse me on what really happened? All I know is that he was a great person for the sport we all love, and I wish he was still around.

too old. speed kills is even more confusing.

bought both books on e-bay, under $40 for blue thunder and $7 for speed kills.

has ben ever said anything about the whole mess?

the article i posted seems very plausible, do we know who was the person telling the story?

There was a made-for-TV movie on one of the big three networks back around 1990 called "Thunderboat Row." It was a very cheesy movie starring Chad Everett and that guy who used to be on Silk Stalkings. There was no mention of Aronow in the movie, but it was clearly based on him (played by Chad Everett). He was not killed in the movie.

to much money envolved not to include the darker side... he must have been involved in some sort of money making situation... think about it.. everything he touched he made money... that says to me he was involved in something... lets all be realistic!!!
great designer... bad lifestyle.... miami vice was based on something!!!

Thanks 28 and Cash there is something about that article that causes you to think about the source ;but by the same token there are things to throw you off the trail.IMHO
