End of the season Steak and Lobster bake, Oct 12th Lake George NY,


unfortunately it is time to bid farewell to the 2002 boating season in the North east. Some friends and I are planning to have a year end celebration on Log bay Island in lake George Ny on Saturday Oct 12 at 2:00pm This will be one of the last chances for all the local OSO members to get together this season, so lets make it an event to remember.

What I was thinking was a steak and lobster bake. This would be a bring your own beer and what ever else you would like to share event. I'll supply the necessary cooking equipment and take orders for lobsters a few day prior to the event and pick them up that day. (please put in your lobster order and pay me for them at the island or you will be left out) I'll also take the honors of being the head chief of the day.

You and Wayne are more than welcome to come. I have to leave the party by 4 to get back to Albany for a party my wife is having for her friend. I can shoot back up on Sunday early morning or even late Saturday night. Have Wayne call me to arrange plans.

Was up at the Lake for the first time last weekend. What a beautiful spot. There were lots of boats and plenty of room to run them. I cant believe there arent more people interested in this summer finally.

I think you know me. I met you up at the 1000 Islands Poker run. I tried returning your PM but it kept saying your mailbox is full.

Paul, thanks for the invite. As I mentioned to Shane, I wish you guys had stopped by when you blew by the island we were on last weekend. We had the whole island to ourselves pretty much all afternoon. Went up to Ticonderoga for dinner and got REALLY wet on the way back down. There are days when I wish I had a windshield. As for the end of season bash, we will probably be able to attend. I will let you know when the date gets a little closer and I am more certain of my plans. Sounds like a great time and perfect location for it. We almost always say farewell to summer on that weekend with a last visit to the lake. Hope the weather is nice, we have seen everything from 75 degrees and sunny to 38 degrees and snow on that weekend.

Wish I could make it that day but I have to work. May be around Sunday if anybody is staying over & the weather is nice.\
