I had a great time even though the blower belt fell off!! The motor run fine without the blower just a little rich, so I headed back home.

It was nice of the "Big Boys" to take it easy and wait up for us smaller boats!!!!

Oh well, I guess you guys met up and ran. The weather discouraged me not to take the long ride. Maybe next time...

Hyperfishing saw a cat running down the Hudson to join up with the rest of the bunch and we exchanged waves. Hope you all had a great run.

Sorry we missed the lunch run, but we had to return the boat to Oakdale. We fueled up at Port Imperial, ran the breakers off Coney island, and up the NYC state boat channel to return to Oakdale instead.

I'd be most interested to hear how the rest of you, particularly the cats, made out if any did this same trip in or out of NYC harbour on Sunday afternoon. The tough Ol Sonic made it through, but I'd really rather not have to run breakers again.
Mental note to self: do not run the tail ends of hurricanes. <gg>
