Custom CC/Cuddy builders...
 

Hi,

First time poster, I'm wondering if the community can recommend a custom boat builder. I have a project I'd like to begin assembling.

I'm interested in building a 50-60' cc/cuddy with inboard diesel power, maybe inveco 1000's or so.

I'm looking for speed, range, extreme comfort (sleep 6), compressors and T bottle storage.

The primary function of the craft would be diving from Florida, the Gulf, Bahamas & Caribbean.

Thanks for that, I'm aware of Nortech I didn't realize they were a full custom builder but they are certainly on the list, I'd like to start with 6 builders and narrow that down.

give them your specs, they will build your 60' diesel dive boat with comfortable rooms for the passengers to cross into Bahamas/Caribbean


The good thing about having a boat built by Todd Allmand is that the build is Coast Guard (CG) approved. The boat plans are sent to Washington DC to get approval from the CG. Then the build is inspected throughout the build process by the CG.

This is important because should you want to make this a commercial business, in order to get insurance (if you will be taking US passengers), you'll need a CG approved/certified vessel.
