Mine are in and surface drives. I keep them straight and come in using throttles, reversing the motor to the inside of the turn, forward on the outside to push it around. Mine needs alot of reverse to equal a little forward, but it will spin in it's own length pretty easily. I will turn the wheel to "crab" to the dock or adjust a missed attempt! Never had an "out" rotating boat, so I don't know any difference! :D

Are the docking manners worth the 1-2 MPH top end? Remember a PR is not a race:D

The 35 Donzi likes to have the props spin in so I would not change that.

Drives neutral or slightly up, tabs up, reverse engine will need slightly more throttle to compensate.

I never have an issue turning, spinning or approaching a dock but I find it can be difficult backing straight up with the in turning props.

1) Come in hot.
2) Make a LOT of noise (so people get the hell out of the way).
3) Make sure you have a fresh beer closeby the sticks when you're done scratching everyone's anchor.

Tom is spot on. U can use some searing if needed but a bump bump on the throttle will go a long way and works good with the forward and reverse motors. Thats how I like to do it.

you'll get used to it, I swap mine spinning out once in a while trying new props and I hate docking it spinning out now.

Can you help me out there, for some reason my Ford Ranger isn't doing a good job getting the trailer out of the water. What's up? ;)

Yeah that's really the main thing is backing in to my slip and there's no break wall so I've always got a pretty healthy amount of wind.

Good tips here everyone, looks like the one thing I haven't been doing is playing with the trim. I'll see how that works!

You are not putting enough pressure in the rear air-bags. If you increase to 245 psi, the rear tires will grab the pavement better, and you should be good. Take a video please. :hitfan:
