The best deal on new Tahoe.......???
Need a little help from any of you vehicle guys.
Anyone know where I can find the best deal on a new Tahoe??
I'm hunting one down for my girlfriend/ possible future wife, and she has a kid.
I know there expensive, but any leads would help. There wanting close to 44,000 at the local dealership. I'm thinking I can find a better deal somewhere else. I'm in Southhaven, MI and if I have to, I'll go all the way back to Texas just to buy the the thing.
I want all the bells and whistles for resale value reasons as well as my traveling in differemt parts of the U.S.. If I have to buy else where and have it delivered I'll do that.
Some honest input and rough pricing would be great!!
Thanks,
Shawn

take factory sticker ( bottom right hand corner ) msrp. not the adm (adjusted dealer markup) with sealant pkg ETC. and multiply it times 88.9% and you should be within $50 of invoice. Then be careful with dealer service fee. I wouldnt pay no more than $100 (owner has to pay for his boat too.!) and you should also get the rebate OR finance offer aswell. The rebate will come off the bottom line not the top line because you have to pay taxes on money that is not yours. I promise you there will be a dealer close by who will sell you a vehicle this way, they will not lose money. there is nothing wrong with them making a profit but no need to pay for childs college on one tahoe deal. Good luck.
$44,OOO (X 88.9%) = $39,116 + $100 (dlr srv fee) + $6.50 (tire/batt disposal fee ( varies by state, this is FL.) = $39222.50
(X 6% sales tax, varies by state this is FL)= $2353.35. so $39222.50 + $2353.35 = $41575.85 then add resistration and title fees usualy around $200 then total equals $41775.85 now minus rebate $3000 (or what ever rebate is at time of puchase)
bottom line is $38775.85 and there you go good luck. CALL AHEAD and speak to general sales manager first and tell him what you would like and he will probally work with you over the phone and do it as a house deal so he dont have to pay a commision. or he may counter with a little more profit and dont be scared to negotiate he is not in the business to lose money and he knows there is someone else out there more hungry than him CRAIG
