New no-wake zone may slow Saginaw River boaters this summer -- Anyone know more???

Correct, and they (Uptown/Real Seafood/DNR/city (mis)management) knew before they started building it was open water, not a "no wake" zone. Which is on par with buying a home next to a gun range and complaining about the noise.
Looks like if I want to hit Boater's Beach or Caseville, I'll put in at Sunset Bay, or the Quanicasee public launch. More time in the truck maybe, but less time idling, and more time running with the throttle open.
