Heading to Tampa for a couple weeks
 

Just got the call from my boss that our Tampa branch needs some help. I should be flying out by mid next week. I will be down there for a few weeks they said. Any info on gooder places to hang out or maybe even get a boat ride in, I'll bring the beverages of course.

What area are you staying in?

I'm not sure yet. I work for Tudi Mechanical. It's a small Hvac company in Tampa. They take care of some of the big buildings in the city so I imagine near downtown tampa

If anybody tries to take you to G.Bar in Ybor City, don't go. If you do go, don't drop your wallet. If you do drop your wallet, kick it out of the bar before picking it up.

I did a few projects there, and it's a fun town .
Ybor city (pronounced E-Bore) and Channelside have lots of night life activities.
Clearwater beaches are a short drive away.
You won't be disappointed.

Well game 6 should be here for the lightning....downtown is INSANE for that.


Also Taps is downtown, a member and friend here owns it and it is fantastic. Great food and great drinks right in downtown.

Also Ule is great to go to and have a great oyster bar. If you like divey fun places there is Ricks on the River. Go there by way of Pirate water taxi, they are new and it's $15 for the day to go to any water front place you wish as much as you wish for the day. They pick up near the convention center.

And no trip to Tampa is complete until you pay a visit to Mons Venus.
Lots of talent there....lots and lots of talent.

Head to penthouse, scores, or get wild and take the drive to bare assests.

Thanks guys. I'll look into those places. Looks like I'll be staying in a house 10 minutes from downtown. I'll be there a month and I will be arriving Sunday afternoon.
