47 Lightning Plumbing Questions

First off, does anyone know where the fresh water tank is on a 2006 47 lightning?

Had an interesting issue today...I tried filling the water tank for the first time this season, and it filled the holding tank as well. I have no idea how this is even possible, but it filled both to the max until they were coming out the vent. I can't find the fresh water tank and I see no evidence they are plumbed together in any fashion. The water works fine on the city water connection.

Any ideas?

My (2004) fresh water tank is in the port side - side wall of boat.
My toilet is set up for raw water flush (lake or river water).
If I us city water hookup I have a valve I need to close or I will fill my fresh water tank, not sure why your hold tank filled up.

Nothing was open, and the only thing that goes to the tank is the head. Super strange!

I've searched high and low and my best guess is the tank is in the starboard side compartment. I was able to dig into the port side, and there's nothing there. My pump is fed from a weird arrangement of 2 large hoses. I'll snap a pic when I get back to the boat after dinner.

Ace is small...stick a gopro on his head and tell him there is candy in the gunwale......

My waste tank is on starboard side or boat.
I would bet which ever side of the boat your city water hook up is will be the same side as your fresh water tank.

Fresh water tank is on port side of boat around the middle of the cockpit.

Ok, I found the fresh water tank. It is burried on the port side as stated. Where does the large hose (looks like wast hose) that is on the intake side of the water pump go? The port side hose, right in pic, must go to the tank, but where does the left side of the T go to?

And how on earth is it filling my waste tank. This makes zero sense!!!

Is this a new to you boat? The reason I ask is did this problem happen over the winter months or is it a new to you boat that already had the problem?
As for the large hose going under the bathroom floor I have the same thing. Not sure where it goes never had a problem with mine. I assumed it was a supply for toilet and sink in bathroom. Sorry can't help you there, but when you find out I would be curious to know. Good Luck
