Iff you bust some ass you can do that repair in 2 weekends with a few after work sessions for a couple hundred in materials. Get the motor out, get some good piks and we will get you on the right track

That's the plan, I'll get the motor out on Saturday and get a better look at the damage.

And I thought the engine mounts on my 33 outlaw looked weak.......

That top motor mount nut is about to come off. Unless you unscrewed it before taking pic, something is toast! You may be looking at a new coupler too and check TA for cracks around the bearing

Nope, I shifted both sides all the way up to get a better look, drive was already off at this point. I also loosened the bolts thru the stringer to try to see rot if any.

Next after you repair the stringer put a solid motor plate get rid of the stock mounts that will tie both stringers together with nice backing plates.

Setting up the offshore mount the first time can be a pain, but it is a much stronger setup

BBCLiberator 05-24-2016 06:13 PM

I looked at doing that, but not sure yet is th CP performance one any good?

TxHawk 05-24-2016 06:17 PM

How much room between stringers?

BBCLiberator 05-24-2016 06:27 PM

I'll know this weekend and take measurements. Until then I guess it's useless talking about.
