Man all I know is if I had that much money tied up in a boat that was held in Cuba as long as that one, I'd just be happy I got it back in one piece. I'm sure home boy can afford a new paint job.

So why would this be at Haulover and not at McManus for immediate rebuild. Possible sale or change of direction?

They should restore it again, but put it back to the way it was and leave it alone. Shame, but at least they got it back. It came back over transported via ship BTW

Dealing with two maybe three governments sounds like a *****. Cuba was probably the easiest . Glad everyone got what ever it is thay wanted to get the boat back.

Were there any Cubans on board? Note to self: Don't use this color for a boat.

Regardless of everything that went on with the record run and then the aftermath, that is one seriously cool boat.

To each their own but to me that thing looks Butt Ugly.

Reminds me of the old stretch 39 Cigarettes with the jog in the sheer line 8 feet from the stern in order to keep the freeboard seaworthy at the transom.

So there has got to be a story to the record here?
