Great list to have. There is also a yellow one in Maryland I believe that raced OPA a couple times. John I know there are several others in Trinida I believe. Now that list may be more difficult to put together but Trent may have a handle on that as well. Steves old (Extreem) and Firewater (Extreem) are the ones I know about. What ever happened to the one that got raffled off by John Haggen?

Your right about the yellow one in MD.. i forgot... I know Brit and Art raced it in Chat 07 in P4 and it raced 2011 in Solomons in Class 4(dont know who was in the cockpit that day) and I havent heard or seen it since.. Yes Steve first Extreme and the Firewater Extreme are in Trindad, The Haggin raffle boat is the one that Will has, he painted it blue with shark teeth decal on the nose with a deli as his sponsor in P4 until his new 32 came out

lots of good info here tks
figure 1 will pop up eventually hull only
I blame will for building the phantom too dam good
as I was hoping to find a broke hull /damaged in some manner
for my starting point
does any1 know about this boat
not a svl but is 30' with 2 steps that's been raced for yrs
capsule would have to go and start over as the small windows with blind spots has an egg look
he has no hull weight to give me or even a complete # to deduct from,,,,so imagine heavier than I want to start with
said its a late 90s larry smith scarab,,,,,,,

Heres a link to photo when it raced.... http://lucidideefastboats.com/p68700...ab8a#h37efab8a

The deck is new since it has been raced and was originally brought out as the "Pitman Photo" A Class boat.. When it ran in P4 it ran a 750 Mercury Supercat motor with I think(dont hold me to the drive) a #5 or speedmaster of some sort... was very very heavy and really lacked acceleration against the newer F1's with 500 efi's Its been for sale for a while.. As you said, it never competed in the SVL class, obviously due to the 750

yea that's what I thought was heavy hull
as wouldn't answer simple ?s
ill be getting back with will as he wanted to get with me on some stuff
so we may work out something as I really like the 36 capsule look,,,,
and fit it to a 30 with 4 bucket seats
wanting to stay in a weight spot for what im doing
to keep my excelleration and speed I have now
and with longer/wider hull,stepped with a pad
would be able to stay in throttles as hull I have now
im maxing the speed it can handle
will keep contacting people as I hear
sad is found 2 laying at a shop not being used and wont sale
tks

Activator never purchased the Excalibur molds. Not arguing where the 27 activator bottom came from, but Activator never purchased it from Excalibur.

history of the molds as I know is Excalibur in 1980 raised the top deck added longer bottom strake out rear and the 8" notch on transom and made it in 81-82
in 1982 welcraft got the 27 molds from Excalibur and made them late82-85
activator got the molds from welcraft or whoever had them after the last 1985 speedster was made from welcraft
used the same bottom and added a fairing to top mold with a raised center area on deck to bow
after a few yrs added a step plug in the bottom mold
made it till sold molds to manage overseas
manage has added a 2 step plug in the mold now to date still making that boat

I dont know what Mange did to modify the molds from when they were here in the states, but I have the original and only 27' canopied SVL Activator model year 2003 and it has twin notches in it BJ is more up to date on the open versions but the one 27 open I ran had twin notches as well
