Default Anyone know of a Fountain EC 48 on great lakes or Lakle Simcoe?

I'm very interested in a Fountain 48 express cruiser...Had planned on going to look at one that was 7 hours away, but it sold. I've never seen one in real life. There was one kicking around in the Detroit area a few years ago, and one on Lake Simcoe in Ontario. Does anyone know if there are any in these areas, I'd contact the owners to have a look...the closest one for sale is 700 miles from me....

I have a friend that owns one on Lake St Clair, trip diesels with surface drives. Last time I piloted it I think we went 51.

I found one about 3 1/2 hours from me, in Orillia Ontario, I'm going to drive up tomorrow...Lake St Clair is about the same distance, the one here is triple 502s I think, and I'm looking for a diesel, but at least I can check it out....

that the one at Earles?

If you're going into Orillia, you'll be passing Double R at the 9th Line of Oro-Medonte. They've had a 48 Express in there a number of times in the last year...not sure the power but the drives are Arnesons. A stop in may get some results.

I ran beside one in some snot just south of san souci... It was blue and white with surface drives. We were all getting beat in our little boats and he was pulling while his passengers were drinking from wine glasses by the looks of it... lol.
