Its under new ownership
.
Sonic is busy building boats and the addition of Tony and his resources is a step in the right direction. The new 36 Ocean Spirit Center Console has been a big hit for them and two more are nearing completion for delivery, one to Oregon and the other off to Massachusetts.
Sonic has been a long time solid brand in the performance boat world. We were recently fortunate enough to be able to talk to some of the over 20 full time employees currently at Sonic. Chief Rigger, Jason Bonowicz has been in the industry for over 19 years, 4 of which have been with Sonic, and he is fully Mercury Certified. Plant Manager, Bruce Carvalho has been with Sonic for an incredible 28 years, and the all around everything man Ravi Bishundat has been there 18 Years. These long term, talented teams members are a testament to how solid this company really is.
Sonic is all in for this years Key West Poker Run and signed on as a major Florida Powerboat Club Sponsor. Two 32 Super Cats rigged with Mercury Racing 400R’s will be at Key West, and another is nearing completion with 565’s, turning IMCO SCX Drives. The newest 32 Super Cats at Key West this year is being offered with incredibly aggressive pricing and a session with the Tres Martin Performance Boat School is included!
Sonic has some other surprised coming and a surprise to us was just how custom they will build a boat for each customer. Stay tuned for much more to come!

Canale Takes Ownership of Sonic Powerboats
Created: Tuesday, 10 January 2017 08:00 Written by Jason JohnsonTwo months after what turned out to be a successful showing at the Florida Powerboat Club’s Key West Poker Run, Sonic Powerboats has announced a major turning point for the Fort Pierce, Fla.-based V-bottom and catamaran builder—a change in ownership. Tony Canale, the owner of Canale Marine in Buford, Ga., has agreed to purchase the company from Anthony Frisina, who has owned the company since 2010. The deal, according to Frisina, happened rather quickly and became official late last week

I've been getting pictures texted for the past year. The guy who bought it is getting plenty of use out of it. I can't believe the total mismatched interior that Frisina put in there after losing the Spectre franchise.

I am sure new owner is paying old owner over time..... maybe he should hold back some of those payments and make good with the past customers...... My lawsuit is still out there!!!!!

Since 2012 Average length of ownership of Sonic Boat
Well.... If I were the new owner I would reach out to past customers and try and make good and stop all this negative press Sonic is getting. Google, yahoo and other search engines bring prospective customers to OSO, Boat US, etc where the brand is getting ripped apart. Got to be hurting sales. My prediction is the brand SONIC is so damaged now it would be a miracle if it survived.

Just looking around the web and it seems almost every Sonic/Frisini/Spectre (when they owned molds) since 2012 is either For Sale or has sold many times..... WHY??????? Looking for the TOP 10 reasons- Please submit response to this post.

Looks like they were finally able to register it since it has numbers. Wonder how that worked out.
