Default OT - For Upstate NYers'

TO THOSE WHO ARE NOT FROM UPSTATE NEW YORK, NO EXPLANATION IS POSSIBLE
>You know you're from Upstate NY when:
>1. Your idea of a traffic jam is ten cars waiting to
pass a tractor on the highway.
>2."Vacation" means going to Lake George for the
weekend.
>3. You measure distance in hours.
>4. You know several people who have hit deer more
than once.
>5. You often switch from "Heat" to "A/C" in the same
day.
>6. You use a down comforter in the summer.
>7. Your grandparents drive at 65 mph through 13 feet
of snow during a raging blizzard, without flinching.
>8. You see people wearing hunting clothes at social
events.
>9. You install security lights on your house and
garage and leave both unlocked.
>10. You think of the major food groups as deer meat,
beer, fish, and berries.
>11. You carry jumper cables in your car and your
girl-friend knows how to use them.
>12. There are 7 empty cars running in the parking lot
at the Stewarts at any given time.
>13. You design your kid's Halloween costume to fit
over a snowsuit.
>14. Driving is better in the winter because the
potholes are filled with snow.
>15. You think sexy lingerie is tube socks and flannel
pajamas. (YOU MEAN IT's NOT?????)
>16. You know all 4 seasons: almost winter, winter,
still winter, construction.
>17. It takes you 3 hours to go to the store for one
item even when you're in a rush because you have to
stop and talk to everyone in town.
>18. You actually understand these jokes and forward
them to all our friends from Upstate NY.

Hey GRH, are you coming to Hotboat's end of summer steak and lobster cookout on Columbus Day Weekend? Could be an interesting Progression vs. Superboat shootout for bragging rights in the 24' V category. What do you think?

very good very good,
I spent some time with some woodchucks last night. Bow season opened and I had to listen to the damn stories again. They never change from year to year.
duh duh I sat there, and sat there and sat there. Then one finally walked near me on the third day, he sniffed me and took off. Then duh duh duh, another came walking , put his head down to eat, I pulled back on the Bow, and put it through his heart from 100 yards. Its always 100 yards. I watched him(cause ya cant get up...your stiff as a mother f!@#$ from sittin for three days in a tree)until he fell. I tracked em, pulled out my $30 arrow and licked it clean, then, dragged the ***** back to my car. Got home , hung em from a tree and took polaroids with the kids. Wants some bung chunks to take home?(cause they dont give ya the good **** like tenderloin)

What the hell is huntin when ya wait for em. It should be a rule ya have to be movin at all times. Hell, ya sit there long enough somethin will come by. Sport. SPORT It aint sport...your sittin on yer ass!!!

Its gonna be a long fall!!!

WOW! That hurts. If you didn't like my hunting story, you didn't have to listen. The rest of the "woodchucks" really wanted to hear it. I know your idea of hunting is if you have to walk down the meat isle twice at Wegman's to find what you're looking for....... you just wouldn't understand. Boy, and I was going to give you some tenderloin too. Oh well, looks like you're getting the bung hole again.

Very true GRH! Sad, but true.

Below is my deerstand/vacation home/cruiser.
