An intriguing day of offshore powerboat racing in the Florida Keys is in the books, http://speedonthewater.com/in-the-ne...hon-grand-prix

No one better than John Tomlinson of S. FL and a Skater!
Congrats to Performance Boat Center.

on the super v race 67 had the lead for several laps . then 51 got ahead of them .
at turn two 51 was ahead by four boat lengths when 67 tried to come in under them and spun out .and they were both on the edge.

We were at Redhead/PBC Friday afternoon and Myrick was still there working. Was boarding a plane in an hour or so to head South for the races.

A much more-detailed (and longer way) way of saying, as written in the story: "After several lead changes and a hard spin by the LSB/Hurricane of Awesomeness team in turn No. 2, the Sun Print team of driver/owner Steve Miklos and driver Steve Fehrmann grabbed the lead for good, despite a hard chase from the boatfloater.com team."

When trying recap the action from multiple class with brevity, particularly for online readers, sometimes shortcuts are essential. Butt thanks a bunch for the added color/detail. klaatooyou. Great stuff.

Myrick is a nice down to earth great guy.
I was at performance this last week and had a boat issue. He got it taken care of nice and quickly, friendly as can be.
Can't say enough nice stuff about him and the crew at Performance boat center.

Congrats to them on the win.
