Repaing cracked wind screen?
 

My wind screen on my 02 31 sonic has a piece broken off on the upper corne.r. not sure what material was used to manufacture the wind screen but anyone know what I should use to glue it back?

Its probably molded acrylic. I would think if its small ehough just a little crazy clue should do.

glass dave actuall the piece is like 6 inches long by 3 inches wide, so you think crazy glue would work? any other things to try? i used a clear epoxy and it seemed to work but with this constant heat this weel of 90+ temps it seemed to soften the expoxy and came loose!!!

The glue they use in the construction on acrylic fish tanks will fuse it together. Not sure what it is but its really strong .

Can you buy a new one? If you can I would do it because whenever you try to sell the boat the survey guy will throw that cost into the mix so you might as well enjoy a new one now and get your monies worth out of it. Just my 2 $

I googled gluing acrylic and tons of info came up, with instructions on how to do it correctly.

A buddy of mine used that on his and it worked good. Cant for the life of me I cant remember what it is. Sounds like to big a piece for cryoacrylate (crazy glue)
