Sonic Factory
 

Any of you Sonic owners ever gone down the Sonic factory in Fort Pierce to look around and maybe buy some Sonic swag/apprael? Heading down that way Wenesday
to pickup a new trailer in Miami, so I thought I would make a detour to the factory and check it out. Wondering if anybody has done it, is it worth the stop?

Certainly worth stopping into the factory. I know they were working on some new shirt ideas, not sure how far along they are. It's a cool place to check out, but don't disrupt them too much, they're working on my new boat...:signs069:

They are suppose to be setting up on their new website where we can purchase shirts and merchandise. They were handing out free T-Shirts at Pirates of Lanier and The Old Hickory Fun Run. Im sure if you go to factory and ask for Bruce he would be happy to show you around and give you some shirts, hes a great guy...

Keep in mind the guys at the poker runs represented a new dealership so they might have been giving away the free stuff.

Thanks guys for your replies to my post. Looks like my trip has been slipped a week or two while they get off their butts and stop jerking me around and built my new trailer for my 358. I'll be sure to ask for Bruce when I arrive the factory.

I asked Bruce your T-shirt/hat question, he said that his order has come in yet, but give him a call and he'll send them to use Sonic owners.

Bruce was a great guy. He dropped what he was doing and spend hour showing myself and a friend around his facility all the boats that were being built to include a 358 MCOB with triple 350 merc outboards!!!! He answered all question I had concerning my 358 I own. Just a pleasure to talk to, all around great guy!! Sonic is bring the 42 and 32 to the Emerald Coast Poker run next, so I'll get to see the 42 Hyper-sonic in person, maybe a ride??? Sonic is going to the direction of outboards in all its boats like the rest of the market is venturing. Sorry no outboard will ever sound like a big block!!

I asked Bruce you question concerning parts, he said you'll have to give him a call. From what I seen around his shop there wasn't a big parts room or storage area.

Which boat are you ordering? I seen a 358 MCOB with triple 350 Merc's, 42 Hyper sonic with a painted black bottom, several 32 Cat's with twin 400 Merc outboards and 540 Bulldogs blue motors. I only disturb him for an hour but it didn't seem to bother Bruce at all. So I bet your delivery schedule wasn't impacted by my visit.

I'm building a 36 CC with triples. Making a bunch of styling changes, and seating layout. It should be done sometime around November.
Glad you got to meet Bruce, he is a great guy!!

Is your 36 CC going to have a large flip front seating area forward of the drivers console? If so, Bruce showed us your boat and how they have modified to the flip seating area to provide a large seating area for people when flipped up allowing them to get out of the sun/weather. This boat was just a white hull only, far from being done. Going to be a nice boat for sure.
