Thanks Chris Jr. And I can vouch that 29 running 100 mph as well. Seen it in person as I was there. That 29 blew by us (UD boat 2750 ) like we shut the engine off.
Glen's 29 has the Teague 825 engine at around 860 hp as I know that 4 sure 100 %.. For that Havasu day he was loaded down as well with full family and gear on board and I would bet at the very least half a tank of fuel.
Also I have been in a 29 mid cabin with a Merc HP 525 GPS at 76 mph.

We were mid 80's maybe 85 and he ran away from me like I was chained to a house....
That teague 800 isn't stock...

Ok....I'm sold....well maybe like UD says.... the 800 isn't really a 800
my 500 efi before whipple was a 74mph boat...
my 525 was a 76-77 mph boat...
gonna need a ride in the "new" 29 - will it be at desert storm in 2017?

I know this is the Lavey 29 thread but I had to share the other cool boat build I get to do this winter. Scarab P29, limited edition #19 of 29 made. Special hull, special paint, Mercury Blackhawk drives. I get to go through both 383's and I'm doing twin MS3pro EFI conversions.

We want to MARKET Laveycraft to new areas. Everyone in AZ and CA knows Lavey already. Time to try something different and have EYES on something different as well that the NE is not use to seeing like a dime a dozen. Also the boat will be in Canada for one event as well.
NY is filled with Bajas, Checkmates, Fountains, , Velocity's, Some Pantera's, some Sonics, some OL's and all those Long Island area builders. Hustlers, Activators, Superboats, Kryptonites, and few Progressions and more.

I wouldn't DREAM of doing this without BUP's help! I don't have anything along the lines of drive alignment tools and even if I did I wouldn't know what to do with them, lol. BUP's going to be a big help in pulling the drives off and getting the engines out. Then it's on me to go through the engines. BUP is going to help me reinstall everything and get it all aligned and set-up. There are some wiring and other issues to straighten out and I'm also doing the new EFI electronics installation.

You are correct I realized after posting that It should have been in this thread about the seats. I just left in the other thread afterwards because that has more views. Thanks for the reply. And this made both threads back to the top. This one was buried since the last time posting was over 3 months ago.
