I felt the urge to create this from another thread going on at this time..
To name a few things we take(or shouldnt take for granted)

the people
the resourses
it will be there tomorrow

how good it looks
the time people take to work behind the scenes
the money they spend on the site
the events they organize
the names of the sections
new sections
the maintenance
letting us know about maintenance to be done
advertising concerns
content of threads
that the site works well
servers space
the emails they get
the greif they get
the praise they get
the competition
the problems
problems with members
classifieds
non free sections
promotion product
inventory of promotions
up front expenses
features of the site
pleasing everyone
pleasing some
pleasing none
asking for money
spam
ethics
private mesages
personal page
searches
vagrants
calenders
photos
explicit photos
keeping it organized
links
making it profitable
codes
kept up to date
keeping number one
and so on and so on and so on
and dont forget....
money to run it
money to run it

money to run it

Keep this place a great tool, useful resourse, entertaining,and above all... keep it around for a long time.
OSO has always listened to its members, They built this place for us. We should help out any we can as well.
We should not take everything for granted.

I think I may have a page saved from the Pre- Oct 2000 board on my other computer:eek: If I find it I'll post it in this thread for the guys that don't understand how the changes have been for the benefit of all the people that want to help each other. I deal with some exotic servers and storage space in my business although prices keep getting better (for storage) it still must cost a fortune to help all of us enjoy are high performance lifestyles. If I remember correctly you were ready to give up when the old board went bad.

I am gratefull for all the help that I have recieved with my boat project, the great places I have gone that I never would have (Catalina, Newport, Long Beach, LOTO) and the INSANE rides I have got from memebers like Phantom, Troutly, BBC, and on and on and on. :D:D Oh and the pictures are not bad either :D:D
