Digital trim
 

I'm looking to by a new pontoon boat that as digital throttle and digital trim. Should their be hesitation in the trim when you activate the switch/ The dealer is telling me that is just the way they are, however I know they are using digital on high performance boats and can't imagine hesitation in the trim switch, I know I wouldn't want any in my Cig. Any info would be appreciated, I not buying the boat until I can find out the truth about it.

I have Verados with the Merc DTS controls and there is no delay. I hit the trim button, the motors go up/down.

HaHa, I'm with you man. I finally convinced all of the people at the dealership that was not acceptable, and their should be absolutely no hesitation. They finally found a Tec that knew what he was doing and he took care of the problem. Buying a pontoon these day's is not like it used to be, man everything is expensive now. .
