Most impressive by far. Here I am trying to crack 90 in a 42 Fountain and these guys just about double my speed. Makes me feel kinda small.

Those 2 could have your boat running 100+ without anymore power. You can do the same if you know where to look.

I'm still very interested if the bottom has had any major mods done on top of obviously straightening and sharpening....

Oh I know. I think I could get it close with enough time and effort. I will be happy with low 90's when I get it there. I say that now, then I will want three blowers so I can crack 100.

Thank you. Definitely a labor of love because I could have bought a newer faster boat for what I have into this one. I guess I'm of the "anyone can do it with big steps and blowers" mentality. Never said I was too bright.

For some of us it is all about the hunt, anybody with $ can write a check for instant speed/results.

They have stated many times over the years (even when being interviewed for Speed On The Water) they keep refining the bottom, but they don't state what.
